Latest Requests

Hola,

Seems like people are using notifier2 and are really enjoying it. The #1 request is to open up the application for extra email accounts, e.g. xxxxxxx@msn.com.

We are working on that and will be looking for testers shortly. In the mean time if you have any other suggestions let us know.

    Hey

Awesome program, love it. Although about two weeks or so ago now, Gmail stopped registering with it, Notifier2 displaying "ERROR" instead of an email count, and a couple of dats ago it started doing the same with Hotmail. Hope these have your attention to be fixed by a new version, I assume these two providers altered server code that made them incompatable with Notifier2.

Also, I have another suggestion for the program. Make an option that allows the program to start up in the System Tray. I have Notifier2 running at startup, but it can get annoying that I have to close the main window every time.

    Hi shady!

    Thanks for your comments.

We will work on the system tray start up issue.

I want to make sure that you are not using the new beta live for microsoft. If you are then you will see the error sign. Also for gmail make sure you are not getting the captcha problem as one of our other readers did. If you are then here is the solution:

Thanks... the captcha was the issue.
After reading through the forums on Gmail I had to perform the folowing:

    1. Close all applications accessing Gmail (including Notifier)
    2. Clear my brower's cache and cookies
    3. Close out of the browser
    4. Open the browser back up and go to http://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha
    5. Once site opens enter username, password, and captcha
    6. Click "Unlock"
    7. Log into Gmail normally and the captcha is GONE.

Figured this would be helpful in case someone else encounters this same issue.
